WiiNintendo

I am tired, because I am tired of people saying, “DID MICROSOFT BUY OUT NINTENDO?” and “ARE MICROSOFT AND NINTENDO PARTNERS?” Give me a break!

This site, states that back in early August of 2004, Microsoft attempted to buy out Nintendo. But Nintendo’s response was that they were not on sale, and they are a very successful company.

But actually, Microsoft has been trying to buy Nintendo WELL before then. According to “Opening the Box”, a book by Dean Takahashi, Microsoft attempted to buyout Nintendo in the past. There are also several opinions stated by the Editors who’ve read the book. Here is the site:

But, now, due to an E3 response from Peter Moore, vice president of Microsoft, he stated that “with the price of a XBox 360 and the Wii, you could buy a PS3.” this and a lot more.

Now, people are taking these statements seriously. Microsoft is just explaining the facts behind the $600 pricing of the PS3. He is not “partnering with Nintendo” or “owns a share in Nintendo’s company”. Nintendo has denied and denied again the alleged fact because they want to compete against the systems, not be OWNED by one. This crazy madness has lead to WAY TOO MANY GOD DARN threads on Nintendos forums website suggust that they are allies and are thinking about partnership and Microsoft has bought out Nintendo. I am sick and tired of this crap. Yeah, Microsoft tried in the past and are still trying but don’t come with your assumptions and allegations concerning Nintendo’s status in the video game industry. We ALL know that Nintendo won’t die for a LONG time. For cripes sake, take a look at DS’s sales: in Japan and in North America. That’s over 5.5 millions handhelds sold. I think Nintendo is here to stay for the long haul.

Yeah, I can’t see Nintendo EVER selling out… especially to the likes of Bill Gates.
