The future looks brighter and brighter as the possibility of the Mercury series on the Wii looks quite apparant. 

In an interview about their upcoming PSP game Pro-G asks the creators of Mercury Meltdown the following:

Pro-G: The PlayStation 3 and Wii controllers seem well suited to the Mercury gameplay. Do you have any ideas for games on those systems?

EB: Yes I would agree with you as would many gamers who understand the core mechanisms of Mercury. There has been lots of conjecture about the possibility of the game coming out on other systems and we hope to make some announcements soon about the possibilities of this happening, so watch this space. 

At this point two Meltdown titles are reported to be in development for the Wii.
