Strange, this is also from the Spanish meeting. Not only was pre-paid cards talked about for the Wii, but also there were wrist bands used.

UPDATE: Okay! We give up! You win! I didn’t notice the wrist strap on Wii at E3, when apparently it was there the entire time, especially after some people started using the controller incorrectly. Thanks to JasonGW, juicebytim and djparanoia for making it clear I shouldn’t stay out so late on Wednesday nights.

ORIGINAL STORY:
The entire world couldn’t come to E3 and check out playable Wii for the first time, so Nintendo’s bringing the experience to them. The company recently held an event for the Spanish media, and even in the limited time between now and E3, Nintendo has already tweaked the controller a little bit.

Revogamers attended the event with camera firmly in hand, showing us photographic proof that the Wii controller now has an attached wrist strap. No longer must you worry about dropping your likely inexpensive new Nintendo controller, though we haven’t been able to confirm with Nintendo yet if this is a permanent addition.
