Sierra and Spark are working on a collaborative action game for next-gen consoles sometime in 2007.

Sierra Entertainment, a division of Vivendi Games, has signed a development agreement with Spark Unlimited to create an action game for next-generation consoles.

Spark Unlimited is a developer of first-person action games for consoles, most recently completing Call of Duty: Finest Hour. The studio’s upcoming title will build upon this tradition, while moving to next-generation technology and venturing into a modern setting.”Together with Sierra Entertainment and through the creation of an all-new intellectual property, we are able to showcase our award-winning game design on the next-generation consoles,” said Craig Allen, CEO, Spark Unlimited.

The project is expected to ship in 2007. More information about the title will be released later this year.
