Cardboard Wii’s on Ebay August 14, 2006

Man, these people must really be dumb if they didn’t know it was just a cardboard box.  lol.

“This is only a model of the Wii and is no way intended to be sold as an actual working system,” state the makers of the cardboard Wiis placed for sale on Ebay. ” We are just a couple Nintendo fans who enjoy making models!”

The pair of cardboard Wiis (a black model and a white model), which, as the seller suggests, is simply homage to Nintendo, both received an outstanding number of bids. The black model fetched $40, while the white took home $46. According to the listing, this is the second generation of Wii models, sporting such revisions as Gamecube controller ports and a blue disc drive to give the cardboard system that “glowing look.

No news as to whether or not the winners realize they are replicas.
