New Trauma Center Wii Info September 5, 2006
You can hold the A and B button to use the tweezers…Sounds enthralling to me!
A new interview on Sliced Gaming has revealed some gameplay mechanics on the upcoming Trauma Center: Second Opinion for Wii. In the words of Tomm Hulett, Project Lead for the Trauma Center series, “Trauma Center: Second Opinion is a remake of the original game with a lot of new content added.” Since it is a remake, much of the gameplay from the DS game, Trauma Center: Under the Knife has been preserved, but new details were revealed concerning how the Wii controller would be used. Players will have to press both the A and B buttons to use tweezers, much the same way in real life by pinching the instrument. The game will also take advantage of the ability to move the controller side to side and forward and backward. However, it will not use any of the speaker capabilities. The game was also stated to be a completely single player game as well.
The Trauma Center series was created by Atlus and made its first and only appearance on the Nintendo DS. It requires players to assume the role of a surgeon and use a variety of tools in operations. Atlus announced a sequel, Trauma Center: Second Opinion for Nintendo Wii.
