I can confirm firsthand that EB/Gamestop retail outlets do indeed have more Wii systems and accessories in stock, but unfortunately the head honchos in corporate will not allow the stores to sell the systems until Black Friday.

So if you want a system, better start camping out after you fill up on turkey.

As unfair as this may seem to all of those who were unable to pick up a system, EB/Gamestop does have to maintain an image on Friday as being a place where shoppers will be able to pick up systems.

Selling them early would result in a loss of reputation in the eyes of non-gamer shoppers like parents and whatnot.
