Wiimote used as mouse on Windows December 4, 2006
We showed you a working Wiimote on a Linux system last week here is a video demo of it working on a Windows system. A couple things to point out. As of today they haven’t gotten the motion bar sensor movements to work (move left, move right, etc), that’s why in the video they tilt the Wiimote to move it in all directions. All the buttons can be mapped to do whatever Windows command you’d like it to do.
The blinking lights do indicate connection, the random drifting when he is not moving it shows that it is slightly off center so there is a bit of drift. You can also control the rumble feature and the LEDs with the driver software.
