WiiNintendo was in NYC for the Wii launch party (even after receiving a Wii from Nintendo a week earlier) we were out there hanging out with people in line, counting down the launch, checking out the entertainment, and getting really drunk…

Anyway, I had some spare footage lying around and decided to through together this 3 minute video that captures the excitement of that night, there’s footage of the entire in store buying process, the crazy line (that took over 7 minutes to walk to see the end), the walking kiosks, the countdown, the bins and bins of Wii Remotes, nunchuks and games, and other festivities.

The first song is an instrumental by The Ramones called “Durango 95″ (which is in reference to a stolen car in the movie: “A Clockwork Orange”)

The second song is by the Bouncing Souls called “No Comply”
