Gabe Newell (Valve) Likes Wii, Hates PS3 January 14, 2007
According to many sources, the latest issue of GameInformer feauters an interview with Gabe Newell from Valve, where he’s asked about Wii/PS3:
“The PS3 is a total disaster on so many levels, I think It’s really clear that Sony lost track of what customers and what developers wanted. I’d say, even at this late date, they should just cancel it and do a “do overâ€?. Just say, “This was a horrible disaster and we’re sorry and we’re going to stop selling this and stop trying to convince people to develop for itâ€?. The happy story is the Wii. I’m betting that by Christmas of next year, the Wii has a larger installed base than the 360. Other people think I’m crazy. I really like everything that Nintendo is doing.“
Can this possibly mean Valve games in a near future for Wii? Will we be seeing “Half Life Wii”? Well, at least the possibility stays and is always good to see developers mad at Sony and happy at Nintendo…

If they did do a HLWii it’d better not be a remake of either HL or HL2.
Maybe HL2 Ep2 :).. I don’t care if it was a remake.. but HL on Wii must be real sweet ^^

i dont fully agree’ i love my wii [using it to type this message] and i will never abandon nintendo [as long as it remains nintendo] but i share a love for sony as well and will evenly support both systems. y? cause i remember how bad the gamecube suffered and i remained loyal while my ps2 crushed the competition. i just want all systems to make the most out of being great game machines so i can kick the crap out of everyone on each system with a smile. singleplayer games 2. isnt that what games r made 4? i dont want sony 2 end up like sega. i used to love them now look at poor sonic. only nintendo has made any good sonic games
