And this is coming out later this month. From this review it sure confirms it that I’ll be gettin this as well.
But I sure would like to be able to use Shadow though. The title would instead be Shadow and the Secret Rings, haha.

I’m sure Shadow and Tails will somehow be in the game (unlockables?)

  3. Gravatar Anza Says:

likely in the mini games part they will be playable, I think I saw Silver of all people in the character selection list so Shadow’s also likely playable in it.

  4. Gravatar Oftengre Says:

I just hope Super Sonic is playable in all stages after earning him.

Wow, so they’re saying this Sonic game doesn’t suck? About time.

I’m hoping for Online capabilities, that would seal the deal for me.

I’ll hope with you, but I think hope is about as close as we’ll get… they’d have mentioned it already if there was going to be anything as far as online things. Hell, I’d be happy with just automatic online submissions of high scores for competitions sake.

Man I can not WAIT for this game to come out. I’ve been digging up and playing every sonic game I possibly can the last week in anticipation, I even bought Shadow the Hedgehog despite how bad the reviews for it were.

It wasn’t that bad, it was just…. far too short, and difficult to control. Plus some of the levels were confusingly mase-like. Almost every corridor looks the same it’s like one extended feeling of Deja-vu.

    Still fairly fun though.

But Sonic and The Secret Rings. This game looks amazing, and the fact tat it’s already got a really good review has me even more excited. The deal sealer for me is the fact that you can turn on the Japanese voice cast. They can never seem to find decent or even HALF decent english voice actors for these kinds of games, and going through some of the older sonic games with voices in them I DESPERATELY wish that I could shut them up.

It’s a shame that the XBOX 360 soni didn’t turn out better. That game was REALLY good looking. A shame the gameplay murdered it.

    good!
