New Wii Chipset Already Beaten February 13, 2007
Wow, that was fast. Team Cyclowiz, the manufacturers of the cyclowiz mod chip have found a work around for the new D2B Panasonic chipset found in new Wiis in the new version of the cyclowiz chip.
My question is, what about all of those who bought the original cyclowiz chip? I thought it was supposed to be upgradeable through a DVD. Follow the link below for all the specs. It looks like there’s little different between this chip and the last version features wise.

I’m getting my Wii this sunday (Already Bought, cousin is bringing it from the US) and I surely hope it doesn’t have D2B chipset.. that would suck..
I will still wait for Wiip though, that Open Source modchip, is much more cooler, and Open Source, I love Open Source

Sorry, didn’t mean to shadow your post :). And JOe, mod chips rule. Not so much for the piracy part as much as just knowing that you have to freedom to use your hardware the way you choose!

Anyway.. I don’t know what to do, i must wait until sunday so I can have my Wii.. and I don’t know what to do, I ran out of games to play on my ds lite (even though i have a M3 flash cart) but just knowing that Wii is close, it doesn’t let me enjoy DS games xD…

Well i’m typing this post on my wii right now and although it takes longer i get a satisfying feeling when the pointer clicks over the keys lol. I’m gonna get a modchip as soon as i find somewhere in the UK that sells em. I need to play backups coz my little cousins scratch up all my discs.
