Revealed: Wii demo as Download March 14, 2007

*I photoshopped this image, just as “eye candy” for the article.
I translated this from a German site:
Wii owners with Internet connections will be able themselves to download demo versions of Wii games.
The assumption gave it already longer, now is official:
Apart from Virtual CONSOLE games, Wii fans with Internet connections will be able to download demo versions of Wii titles. This was confirmed by a speaker of Nintendo of Europe opposite Games current.
One can store the demos either in 512 MB the large Flashspeicher of the console or on a separately available SD card. Which demos will be availbe first, Nintendo is still keeping quiet.

That screen looks fake to me. The text on the Demo Channel icon is too clear compared to all the other channels.
That screenshot is obviously fake. The text on the Demo Channel icon is too clear compared to all the other channels.
This “News” is dated december 01. 2006 !!!!!!!!
Yeah, I think it might be fake too. Plus, the internet and news channel are flip-flopped compared to mine at home. Whats up with that? I wish it was real and waiting for me to download it at home!
It is definately from my eyes, good lookin’ out Sylpharion.
You can change position of all the channels except the Disc Channel by holing B and A when you hover over one same way as drag-n-dropping a Mii. Everyone should know this by now.
I organize my menu by moving all the VC channels on page 2 and over, while page 1 is where I’ll keep the media channels. \:D/

nice english
i hate automatic translation programs. yeah i also think this is fake, because the first demo to come out will definately NOT be MP3 IMO.
@ shanoboyyou can rearrange channels by clicking a and b buttons at the same time and dragging the channels to a new place
Sorry guys, should have made that clear, I just photoshopped a graphic to go along with the article, just eye candy!
Well, if this turns out to be true (and I am not talking about the photo), then I will be very excited! It would ROCK if Nintendo actually made use of the internet and the channels to get some quality content like some demos.
Come on, let this be true…
Oh, there’ll be such a thing alright. I read it in an interview with either Fils-Aime or Miyamoto about how we can download and test out game demos done by small developers. At that point, I was thinking Line Rider~!
Not only the Wii but we should as well as be able to download demos via DS so you don’t have to always go to GameStop, EB, Target, or Bestbuy just to use the Download Station for new demos. Old news.. We’re just waiting for it to arrive already. Patience is the key to Success. \:D/

ya i hope this is tru-this qould be something i would say would be a good call for nintendo
A valuable edition to the channel system. Hopefully we’ll be seeing some amateur developers putting their concepts up like I heard way back when and maybe Nintendo can have it all coincide with their voting channel so players can choose what types of games they’d like to see. Looks like a perfect opportunity for Nintendo and players.
This rumor has been around for some time and has not been confirmed despite what a pokey little german site says. That doesn’t mean it isn’t happening of course.
For now I too only think it’s a rumor, and nothing officially about it.
The site doesn’t even has any source, or anything to prove it.
Maybe it was just a “joke” (to get more readers or something).
How do you get wii demo channel
