Ooh, Shiny: Wii Replacement Case March 19, 2007

Filed under: First Look — shanoboy @ 7:21 am

shiny wiiXCMLive has become fairly popular amongst console modders for their unique replacement cases they have developed for the various gaming systems. Now they are set to introduce their first Wii replacement case.

XCMLive promises that swapping out the case is easy for even a child or your grandfather to do! They fail to mention how it will affect the warranty. It definitely is cool looking though, but is it really better than that nice IPOD feel the Wii has got going now?

The case will be released March 30th and sells for $37.99. You can pre-order it now at TotalConsole.com if you like. Look for a metallic black and blue color to come soon as well!

A profile outline of Mario’s head would totally match that as Wii: Metal Mario Mod.

This might look good with some Red to go along with Red Steel 2 or maybe a Zelda mod. I’ve seen another Zelda mod, but it wasn’t so good. I wonder if they’ll may a metalic gold/gold edition, I’d like that. \:D/
