Future Mario Golf Game? April 12, 2007
Those lovable scamps over at NeoGAF have discovered that Nintendo have filed a few trademarks in Japan recently, the most interesting of which being a title by the name of Mario Open Golf. Now, what system the game will grace is up in the air, however without a precedent for the series on the DS, we’re leaning more towards the Wii. There are no other details at this time, but we’re hoping it features Wi-Fi gameplay.And im hoping it will be as good as Mario Golf on N64, everytime a sports Mario game is put out, it rox my sox off,so ill be looking forward to this

What’s up with all the golf games? Is it just me or is there really a lot of people out there that actually like golf?
The only golf I play is on the console or computer. Great fun. I can hardly wait.
I don’t understand this comment:

Mario Golf has been on the Gameboy (as just “Golf”), Gameboy Color, and Gameboy Advance. I don’t see any lack of precedent for it appearing on the DS?

Can’t wait for a good, fun golf game for the Wii. Just gave up playing Tiger Woods. It is a total bust. I hate games that randomly penalize you. At least in Wii Sports it is all true to your swing. No algorithms messing up your day because you haven’t beat enough of the game.

Well that’s great for Nintendo, but not so much for me. I’m getting sick of these Mario sports or spin-off games. Although they are surprisingly fun, I have so much in my collection that I am getting too fed up now.
