Escape from Bug Island: Screens April 19, 2007
Brand new screens from Escape from Bug Island.
The game was shown once again at the Japanese Wii conference on the September 13th, 2006 in Japan, where it was announced that the game would launch with the console, on December 2nd, 2006. The brief trailer for the game featured a forest level, possibly the same one from the E³ demo, and a fight with a giant tarantula. The animation system seemed to have been improved, the graphics made smoother and more detailed, and the controls more responsive.
The scheduled US release according to GameSpot is 5/15/07 under the title Escape From Bug Island and will be published by Eidos Interactive. According to Nintendo Power, unfavorable reviews of Necro-Nesia prompted Eidos to refine several aspects of the game during localization, including control tweaks and end-of-level wrap-ups.

Coo, this is like Silent Hill + A Bug’s Life.
So let me get this straight, Escape From Bug Island is the English/American version of Necro-Nesia [Japan]?

I hope that game is good enough to make up for that TERRIBLE title. Escape from Bug Island?!?! Is Snake Plisskin in this title or what?
This reminds me of the movie Matinee!
