Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 May 18, 2007

Ubisoft has confirmed that Wii launch title Rayman Raving Rabbids is to get a sequel. Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 will tread the same slightly unhinged path as its predecessor, with a ton of new minigames, plunger projectiles, and nutty rabbits the order of the day. We really enjoyed the first game and already our second helping is on the way.

Rabbids 2 details are few and far between, though Ubisoft has confirmed that the title will appear on both the Wii and DS, and that both versions will have better graphics. A more substantial backstory to the Rabbids will also be added this time; specifically about how they’re planning world domination from a secret lair based beneath a shopping mall. So, it seems like business as usual for Rayman trying to defeat the Rabbid menace.

    Unless all the minigames are different, and not just the repeated 5 base types the way the first one did, then I’m not interested.
