I’ve had a chance to read this review, and seems clear they wanted more content. But what they fail to realize is that Nintendo will put more content as an add on just like xbox live does in future just be patient.

Hahah, that kid in the Pikachu costume looks funny. And at the end with the loser hitting his knee. This may not seem much as a great game overall, but if you’ve got a clan of Pokemon buddies at your school and you wanna battle all out. This’ll be it, the best up to date 3D experience you can get. Customize your trainer to look the way you want to look. I just wish they got an Exploration mode where you can catch wild Pokemon like in Pokemon XD for Gamecube, but maybe that’ll be for another time.

Well, I bought the game and traded it in within a few days. The game is very boring. Without exploration, leveling, leadboards, and pretty anything that would make a game interesting, this game is just a good looking video of poke fights that are more fun to do on the DS. Waste of money and a huge disappointment.

I guess the developer, Genious Sonority, may have focused too much on the Wi-Fi/DS+Wii feature than anything else. But then again, this game did release in Japan first in rush to follow up the Wii launch titles. Just wish console games would be easier to update/add features, more so than portable games.

Oh well, enough of that. My favorite Pokemon game is still Pokemon Snap! All these years I’ve been waiting for a sequel. With the Wii, it’s even more perfect than ever.
