Nintendo’s E3 Press Conference Predictions July 11, 2007

We’re less than 30 minutes from Nintendo’s press rfa.JPGconference at the E3 media summit. Rumors are (of course) abound on every respectable gaming site, so why not throw in our own, even if we’re only 20 or so minutes away at this point.

 Floating World’s Predictions:
-Announcement of Wii 10g Hard Drive. 10g’s will easily cover the Wii’s needs, as its still not meant to be a media center.
-Tiered virtual console channels. One for each console.
-Announcement of Wii Demo Channel, with brawl being the first demo available.
-Excite Truck 2 announced without specific release info, expect an ‘08 release date.
-Kid Icarus is resurrected, announced as retro’s next project, and will follow in Prime’s footsteps as an FPS.
-Reggie, in a last ditch attempt to keep Perrin Kaplan on board, proposes to her on stage.
-Forget the predictions, just watch the conference!

    AHHHH! I COULD’NT WATCHIT! CUZ OF MY DAMN CABLE!

    well,can someone tell me everything that happened….are they making a new starfox,possibibilities of pikmin thrii,will there be a sequel to twilight princess….when’s mario galaxy comin out! did they announce some fancy virtual console game?!?!? Are they making any new channels,will they update the mii channel,did announce anything big about super smash bros.
    brawl…..I need to know!

    Anyone saved a video of the conference (only started watching 20min ago), it is on right now showing news bits and what not about Wii and well I am pretty sure that I saw Mickey in there from one of the TV reports where he and his girlfriend play something.

    P.S.: my own prediction became true: Wii Fit
    Not the title itself, but a fitness game full stop. Too obvious… except for the fact that it looks like a new peripherial.
    Doesn’t look like fun either… Not sure why Miyamoto likes it. Corporate pressure?

    BTW, these predictions weren’t the best, anyone know how accurate they were since I missed like the first hour?

    I think Wii Fit will be a hot seller, and it is a welcome title if it will get ppl off the couch. The new peripheral will be nice as well, lot of potential.

    n/m I watched it live on gamespot,mario galaxy comin out in november,mario cart’s gonna kick ass! And wii fit,I have a feeling will put gyms out of business
