A listing for a game by Atlus Software named Takaron popped up on popular gaming outlet Gamestop’s website recently.

Some sluething (googling) would have me stumbling upon the japanese website, finding it to be a puzzle game developed by Compile Heart, and overseen by Puyo Puyo creator Moo Niitani. Sifting through all this, I’m assuming that Atlus is merely publishing it.

Wikipedia states it’ll be released sometime in August in Japan, while Gamestop listed it for a 10/30/2007 release here, with a $39.99 pricetag.

Also of importance is the article stating that online play is included. If this is in fact true, Tokaron (the Japanese spelling) would be the first online puzzle title for the Wii. I have an email into Atlus for more info. Stay tuned.
