The month of Metroid August 17, 2007
WiiNintendo reader, Roth, is coming to learn the meaning of “The Month of Metroid”:
“I think I’m getting in to this Metroid Month.
I got myself a Metroid T-shirt new in stock at Hot Topic. (Pictured above)
I also grabbed the Metroid (NES) game when it came out this previous Monday from the Virtual Console to play on the Wii.
I’m really looking forward to Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The screens and videos I’ve seen are stunning.
If you guys don’t know yet, there’s a Metroid Prime 3 Preview channel available for download in the Wii Shop for free. You’ll be able to view video clips of some gameplay of the upcoming game.”

YEAH~! My first feature on WiiNin. In the past, I was aware of Metroid, but I never really get the chance to get into it ’cause it’s always been overshadowed by Mario and Zelda. But this is the perfect time to start getting into it. It’s Metroid Month~!

never liked metroid that much.
Loved fusion on the GBA, loved the last 3 boss fights in Prime (1), never finished prime 2, and I just started playing Prime Hunters.
And the only reason I finished Prime 1 was because I had a strategy guide. if I didn’t I wouldn’t have finished it. I don’t like the confusing backtracking and forgetting where your supposed to be going.
I Want a t-shirt like this!!! Where can I get one ? BTW:For me ist metroid month all time I love metroid (I have them all)

Yeah, the t-shirt just arrived this week at Hot Topic. You may find it at your nearest mall.
There’s also a Wii Sports shirt I wanted, but I’ll grab that later. I wanna see if they’ll come up with Wii Play/Wii Fit shirts too.

Wow, I didn’t even realize it was Metroid Month yet I’ve started playing through Metroid Prime 2: Echoes for the second time. Lots of fun, just beat the Grapple Guardian and I am NOT looking forward to doing the Spider Guardian again. That guy is a PAIN!
Just beat Metroid Prime yesterday, and started on echoes, hopefully I’ll have beaten both by the 27th and have purcahsed super metroid by then.
