I think the general consensus on Capcom’s upcoming original IP for the Wii, Zack & Wiki, is one of excitement. Most older gamers have visions of Maniac Mansion and Monkey Island dancing in their heads, while younger games can’t help but catch the fever. I know I’m looking forward to it nearly as much as the big three (two, now?). Thus, a delay, even if it is slight, is disheartening. Highly respected game-news-goto site, Gamespress, has Zack & Wiki slated for NA release on 10/23/2007. Most retailers have had the game listed for 10/16/2007 for a couple months now.

We have an email into Capcom, as this is still unconfirmed. Though, if it turns up true, your need to satiate your point and click hunger will have to go unfed for seven more days.
