So wait… is this just waggle?

I didn’t expect much more, but I’m kind of disapointed.

no it’s not just waggle… when the arrows come up you swing in that direction to finish off an enemy, most other stuff is buttons

Its probably best that they weren’t showing a lot of footage. The fighting doesn’t seem very exciting and neither does the enemy AI. They just stand there and block until you can seem to get one hit off and grapple, then all it takes is one hit to take them down. Bland, really bland. Reminds of episodes of the original Batman where one guy runs at him at a time instead of the whole group of thugs. No chaos and not very frenzied, just staged and choreographed. I can’t be the only one who senese this. And if it is indeed waggle controls (besides the arrow indicators) during basic sword play this could get tiresome as well. Was a buy before but now I’m leaning toward waiting.

The blood is black. I saw a trailer a while ago where he split someone down the middle and he fell into two pieces and blood sprayed out. In this one they just disintegrate into a black cloud. Could they be trying to get a T rating for America? (Unlikely, I read in an interview on IGN that it was going to be as violent as Manhunt 2)

  7. Gravatar Will Says:

Violent eh, from this video I’d doubt it.

Wow, this is kind of disappointing. I was expecting some decent fighting and gore, but this demo looks lame. It looks like a motion controlled version of a button masher.
