Childs Play Charity. November 24, 2007

So what is Child’s Play you ask? I’ll tell you!
Since 2003 Child’s Play, a gaming industry charity is fully dedicated to giving the joy of Video Games to children in over 40 hospitals worldwide. In four years, we, the gamer, have answered this great call and raised millions of dollars.
We are not only helping the children ,but the Game industry itself . With all the negative press on this industry this is an amazing thing to see and take part in. We have been able to help millions of kids worldwide So we need to make this the biggest and best year ever. They’ve extended to more hospitals around the world so you can send Games to a hospital closer to home.
Here’s How it Works:
Child’s Play works the same as always. With the help of hospital’s all around, They’ve set up gift wish lists full of video games, toys etc. You can go to each hospital’s list and buy a toy, and that toy will be sent to the hospital. Some of the kids are in very ill. Just think being stuck alone in a hospital over the holidays, getting something from your fellow gamer would really raise your spirits. Some of the stuff the hospitals will give away for kids to keep, while other gifts (a.k.a consoles) will be kept by the hospitals for patients to use year after year.
This is the largest charity for Gamers by Gamers. So get off the couch and help out your fellow gamer!
Pick your Hospital Here then pick a gift it’s just that easy.
Why I want your Help:
This organization needs sites like WiiNintendo and readers alike to get the word out. This is one of the greatest things the Gaming community can do. I hope that you (the reader) will join with me in getting the word out and be able to make a difference in many children’s lives. It’s something as a Gamer you can’t miss out on.
~Merry Christmas Max

I think it’s acool thing to see and to see WiiNintendo supporting I might have to be a little less greedy this year.
If i had a credit card, i would buy those things for those kids, but sadly, i dont. Best wishes for those kids.
