“We recently became aware that some consumers have not been able to enjoy the full audio output in the Nintendo Wii version of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. We are currently working with Nintendo and are planning to issue an improved audio experience in future versions of the game. We expect to have re-mastered discs available by early 2008 and we will be offering consumers replacement discs at no cost once they become available. We thank all of our customers for their support and patience.” - Activision spokeswoman Rhy-Ming Poon

Yes, you could only listen to it in mono I think… And you might actually be able to make some money off this, if they don’t make you send in the old disk to get the new one you can sell your old one for around $30 I think

any word on them fixing the training sessions? i was going through them the other day (just for the heck of it) and when it said to play the star power notes, or whatever they’re called, and i couldn’t play them. i hit every note, but they weren’t charged, so i “failed” every time. i don’t know if anyone else has noticed this, but it might be nice to fix that.

Pretty sure they will make you send the old one to get the new one, no?
Otherwise how would they know for sure you bought it.
