WiiFit hits 1 Million In Japan!!! January 10, 2008

Wii Fit, the only device on God’s earth that dares call Reginald Fils-Aimes fat (it’s all muscle we asure you). Revealed at E3 last July, Wii Fit comes with a Balance Board, which looks like scales, which measures the center of gravity and weight the user places on the board. This amazing peripheral allows the user to ski, jogg and do so much more. Wi Fit retails for ¥8,800 in Japan.
The game has only been out since 12/1/07 in Japan, but it has already surpassed the astounding 1 million units sold mark! (Which is better then we can say Mario did) It seems that the Japanese can’t get enough of their Wii sports and fitness titles that Nintendo keeps pushing out, with millions of copies of Wii Sports titles having been sold (Get this there it’s a seprete game).
Wii Fit is coming to all other regions this Spring (and the Americans get their own ’super-size’ Balance Board. Maybe it’s because of all the Super-Sized fries?).
Stay with WiiNintnedo for the latest on Wii Fit and all things Nintendo.
Max’s Q’s?
Will you be buying Wii Fit?

I do believe I’ll be purchasing this the day it comes out. My daughter will get a kick out of it and my wife always complains that she doesn’t have time to exercise.
Of course I buy it!! Any nintendo fan worth their salt will buy it… plus everyone else too.. expect sell outs! I just cant wait for some sort of serious snowboarding game… hiking to distant peaks, tricks, nose presses, tail presses, ramps, jumps, rails and more… maybe some downloadable content too.. like new mountains and online co-op missions. PLEASE someone answer my prayers!
Of course I’m getting it, this is a critical part of the Wii series.
Boarding and Jogging looks to be the ones most useful to me. \:D/

This is where the tony hawk series can actually be taken to the next level.
I can’t wait to get wii fitness! A gymnastics add on to mario olympics would be fun. Would take the jumping games on olympics to another level too. I doubt there would be a way of making it work with it now though sadly.
I wonder if it might be used in any future wii sports titles? I hope so!
does anyone know how much this will cost canadian?
I got my mom an ‘I.O.U. Wii fit when it comes out’ for christmas, so now I have to buy it. -_-;;
I do believe that Nintendo is trying to tell us Americans something…
Sad to say, much of America needs it.
The world needs it! LOL
Wait, does this mean that Wii Fit may as well be not necessarily a cure but a prevention against obesity?
This is amusing~ \:D/

Great thing! This is what I love about Nintendo, vision of fresh ideas, not more of the same.
Lets see what Nintendo (or 3rd parties) can make with this balance board. Yet another new controler:)
I’ll absolutely buy it the moment it is released. It’s fun, and it’s healthy and it fun (at least healthier than my usual sports bahaviour which is close to zero except for walking).
