Sheik is confirmed in Brawl; receives perfect score in Famitsu January 16, 2008
Sheik is 100% confirmed to be in Super Smash Brothers: Brawl, via scans of the latest issue of Famitsu. Sheik looks to match the updated look of Zelda and is sure to be pleasing to fans of the combination player. On top of that, another scan revealed that the game received a perfect score from the Japanese gaming mag. Some good news in light of the delay is much needed, agreed?

Same… Even though I liked Sheik in Melee seeing as she’s the only halfway decent LoZ smasher in it, I still can’t help but look at her in combination with the TP model Zelda as… Well… Strange & out of place…
Up until now the SSB Series hasn’t compensated character accuracy for performance… This I’m sad to say leaves me a little disappointed…
I’m not too taken with the transformation. I was all for Sheik as a separate character if need be but I thought Zelda could have been made more interesting on her own. Then again, Peach doesn’t appear to have changed and neither have a lot of the veterans.
It confuses me that they appear to have just ported Melee and added to it yet also apparently aren’t including everything it had.
Sorry to doublepost, but I just realised that Shiek is today’s dojo update. Apparently they based the model on a design drafted during the production of Twilight Princess.
Don’t see why the hair colour can’t match, but maybe I am missing the point lol

Shiek should have its own game. Know what? Be it a Zelda adventure, The Legend of Link: Twilight Prince. That way, Zelda can transform to Shiek and battle as a vendetta protecting her Hyrule kingdom with Link making a brief appearance. \:D/

I hope sheik has a cloned character. It’s really annoying having to transform… plus I can’t say I particularly enjoy Zelda games. Plus it’s out of place…

Hey, I’m not against a Sheik-like character being in Brawl even one bit… But… This just dose not make much sense as far as character placement is concerned…
Zero Suit Samus already movies like Sheik AND MAKES SENSE in terms of character placement…
Hell, If it just had to be Zelda then I’d personally pick Tetra to be the new Sheik (Just my opinion) seeing as even she would make more sense to the fans…
