Guitar Hero On Tour: The Reveal! March 19, 2008
Today we got our first look at the first hanheld guitar hero game to come out Summer of 2008! Guitar Hero On Tour will be exclusive to the Nintendo DS and will be developed by Vicarious Visions. The game will come with a brand new peripheral and feature more than 20 songs for sure. It will follow the GH tradition of Career modes and Multiplayer modes. 6 characters will be avaliable to choose from, two of them are exclusive to Guitar Hero On Tour!
This is the new peripheral being called “the guitar grip”
You will strum using the touch screen with four fret buttons being fingered.
The “guitar grip” will be plugged into the GBA slot, a price has yet to be set for the summer’s release.

Looks like they’ve finally found the solution to getting Guitar Hero on DS. Perhaps this is even better than Jam Sessions.

both. i’ll probably end up getting ssbb anyway because i’m trading for it. but I’ve been waiting for this for a while, i love guitar hero. >_
it will come out in phat and lite, im almost positive because there are still so many people with phats that they would lose sales.
I feel bad for left handers everywhere…
regarding the phats, i hope it does come out for them cuz i love my ds i’ve had it almost since day one. and for lefties, they’ll probably incorporate some kind of thing where if you’re a lefty the entire system is reversed - flip the screens upside down from normal, left hand would be free for strumming while right held the ds. only problem would be getting the colors to match up, although they could probably even fix that too so that instead of green being the lowest note (g,r,y,b) they’d have blue as the lowest (b,y,r,g). it can’t be that hard to simply tell the game to change colors. but i guess only time will tell (for the record i play guitar right handed, so i don’t even have to worry about it)
So how do you pick the strings?
You simple strum the strings on the touch screen.
This is perfit idea i all ways wanted to play guitar hero in the car or in the mall!

Guitar Hero On Tour rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I am a big fan of Guitar Hero games.I have GH1,GH2,GH3,and I’m trying to get Guitar Hero Rock The 80’s and Guitar Hero Aerosmith and trying to get a ds so I could get Guitar Hero On Tour.Oh yeah I almost forgotto tell ya’ll I have a super nintendo,regular nintendo,nintando gamecube,nintendo gameboy advance,and a nintendo gameboy.Sooooooooooo peace!
