My first 25 min. w/ Deca Sports March 21, 2008

Like a lot of single/multiplayer games, this one is a lot more fun with a group of friends competing against each other (I just played single player in the video). The game variety is great and the controls are really good for the most part (simplistic, but good). Archery in particular was really fun. The two “motor” games, dirt bike and go kart were a little week on control options (Hit 2 and go). The basketball and soccer games left more to be desired, but other than those gripes I had a lot of fun with this.

What were the controls like? On badminton was it basically a WiiSports Tennis clone, or did you get to control your characters movement instead of just swing the racket?

They were nearly identical to Wii Sports Tennis, they were slightly better because you could angle your shots based on your swing.

Nice video, I am glad to see a demo of what this game has to offer.

BTW, you have never curled before have you ;) There was no curl on those rocks! I was really hoping the curling motion would be more akin to Wii Bowling but it looks like the standard pick your power and then put a little english on it. Is that a correct assumption? Clearly I am a Canadian if I care this much :p
