I thought this was appropriate cause Rock Band is coming to the Wii in a little while. I just have to warn you though, the video is REALLY cheesy. You want to punch the guy in the face when it’s over. I personally prefer Rock Band (I can’t stop drumming! And I love Boston…)

From cnettv.com:

“Brian Tong brings you a battle of the bands between ‘Guitar Hero 3′ and ‘Rock Band.’ Who rocks harder? The Prizefight ring will decide it all.”

    Rock band is a way better game! It’s simply guitar hero and 2 other games combined into 1…..the only bad thing’s the price

    when Guitar hero…the only better thing is it’s songs…..but that’s why people are so anticipated for a rock band sequel

    Buddy, if you think the songs are better, than I don’t know what to say. They’re both comparable, that is until you factor in DLC for obviously better selections– Oh wait. Wii versions.

    Eh. Thank God for my PS3.

    @Adam

    Agreed. After I bought my PS3, I pretty much left my Wii in the corner, untouched. Not to say I didn’t love the thing… And Brawl lasted a good few weeks as well.

    Well, back to better gaming anyway =p

    @Craig
    The Wii IS better gaming buddy

    @ potato: unforunately right now, the wii isnt better gaming… Brawl lasted a way less
    than i had anticipate it to.

    I beat guitar hero dragon force on expert, so thats done.

    Mario Galaxy i have 120 stars

    beat rayman raving rabids

    beat zelda,

    there are hackers in MohH2

    what else is there? besides metroid which i havent had the chance to pick up..

    so right now, the other consoles are really winning me over… i just mught have to
    pick up a ps3 soon because i am just sitting at the comp doing nothing.

    i still turn my wii on everyday, but its not keeping me
    occupied like the original xbox did……
    (the only console i have that is near the generation of the wii. )

    Dude u gotta take ur time with games, there is sooooo much more to brawl than u think and its a long lasting party game. Do not underestimate the big library of wii games, embrace them!

    The same can be said about the PS3. Trust me, I was an avid fanboy for the Wii, a huge defender; sadly there really wasn’t much to defend when it came down to it.

    I play my wii and ps3 equally. Res 4 and guitar hero keep me occupied the most though.

    This is a lame battle… for one, they counted Rock Band’s downloadable songs twice… in 2 different categories, you might as well count the responsive and dominant controller for Guitar Hero 3 twice too to even things up. I played Rock Band at the local Fred Meyer where they got it all set up and I gotta say that Rock Band, while offering more, is way less enjoyable. The graphical presentation is cleaner but overly boring… and all the peripherals take up way to much space to justify unless you’re having Rock Band parties every night with friends who enjoy playing the same game and doing the same thing every single time they come over. On top of that… the price is ludicrous, and the downloadable content just continues to add onto that price. While you can argue that the downloadable contents price shouldn’t be counted, I argue that it SHOULD be counted because the song selections for Rock Band before using the DLC pale greatly in comparison to GH3’s selection.

    Eny point: Rock Band is a great idea, and they offer a lot of cool concepts, but their execution is incredibly poor (except for the construction of the drum set controller) and their price is insanely unjustified.

    Just my opinion…
