I understand what he’s saying and sort of agree with him on the GTA part, how its not THE problem, but it is one of MANY factors that can cause negative effects in society.
But I reeeaally can’t stand the kinds of people who use their position in the media to say things simply to annoy other people. It’s stupid and immature.

Actually after watching the video where he made the “losers” comment, it really isn’t all that bad and the author he is talking to makes some good points.
The segment I’m assuming started all this (Grand Theft Morality) is a little worse, a little exaggerated, but, still, definitely isn’t the worst thing in the world.
If I had to choose between someone like Jack Thompson and someone like Glenn Beck, I think I’d go with the latter.
What annoys me the most is that this guy thinks hes so damn funny. every single one of his jokes is p***weak. I aint no blogger but it doesnt mean i cant tell who is and who isnt a ******.
Then to insult somebody who goes out of their way to call in and say something, is just childish.

Did you not here what he’s trying to say? He wants websites like wiinintendo to post this….he thinks it’s interesting that he gets the front page news of a video game blog. Meaning that’s all we talk about or something.

I realize that alot of what he said was just to antagonize Steven, but his initial comment (that we are losers) still offends me… how couldn’t it?
I’m kinda confused. Obviously, his first comment was about video game bloggers, but then as he continues to talk about people without lives (which is why he calls them losers), he begins talking about video bloggers. I don’t think he is just leaving out the word “game,” because he begins talking about a different type of blogger. Granted, this is the only thing I’ve listened to so far, but are we as “video game bloggers” getting upset over an offhand comment that was really more directed to “video bloggers?”
It was directed at video game bloggers, since many video game bloggers demonized him for comments about GTA4 and problems in society.
We don’t need Glenn… I don’t need him anyways; he is a Rush Limbaugh wannabe.

pretty offending coming from a fat man who prolly fails in the bed… So *** in fact that he has to make a guy (not going on there to start anything) also a fan of his show and talk down to him like he was some pathetic kid.
Not nice, not cool, and he was throwing that to everyone who plays games and that we are the reason society is crumbling down. where does he work? live? post a bunch of posters with him on it in a hottible fashion… just everyone who plays games or video blogs… print and nail to a post the most horrible picture and place his face on it =_=

With 6 million copies sold in one week, Rockstar has proven there is money in mature games like GTA4. Nothing this guy can say or do will change anything. Jack Thompson and Glenn Beck can criticize all they want, but the games will still be made and will stay on shelves. Don’t let either of them under your skin.
