WiiNintendo RV Roadtrip - Across America May 16, 2008
Hey guys, just to let you know, I’ll be hitting the road for two weeks. My mom is getting re-married in San Diego next week, so my Wife, our two pugs, my sister, my brother-in-law, and my 3 little nephews are renting an RV and crusin’ America for 2 weeks.
I started my Wii Fit Experiment last week and I’m going to continue to do so during our road trip. We’re bringing the Wii and a TV, it’s going to be insane. I’ll get some footage working out in front of Mt. Rushmore, Chicago, Moab Desert, San Francisco, LA, Dallas, etc.. Should be fun.
CBS News got wind of me being one of the people to receive a Wii Fit and came to my house today and shot a story that they’re going to air Monday during Wii Fit’s launch. So, if your in the Philadelphia CBS viewing area, check out CBS 3’s news report on me and the Wii Fit this Monday, not sure what news hour it will air.
I’m also proud to say that after a week of the Wii Fit Experiment, I’m seeing some REAL positive changes, I’ll keep things quite until the experiment is over.
Here is the breakdown of our route:
If you’re along our route send me an email and maybe we can meet up and play some Wii Fit or any other Wii game (I’m bringing my whole collection 60+), info@WiiNintendo.net. I’ll have my laptop and login on whenever I have WiFi, I also have an iPhone to check my mail.
Also, note to bloggers. Please try to post a little more than normal, I may not be able to keep up on everything Wii for the next two weeks, so try and keep the site up and running. I’m recieving a bunch of awesome Wii accessories from Total Console and will hook up the top bloggers of the next two weeks.

So which stores will be releasing it on Monday?
I’ve seen references in mainstream press articles to wii fit being in stores “on Monday” and “on Wednesday.”
Originally my local eb games was saying they’d have it in stock (for pre-orderers) on Thursdays. Now they are saying Wednesday.
Will people be able to pick it up in some stores on Monday and Tuesday?
Now that’s commitment! Sounds like a lot of fun, I don’t even have Wii Fit. I should though, I live in the UK. Have a great time on your road trip. I’d love to see some photos of odd places to be playing Wii Fit.
I see Pittsburgh as one of your scheduled destinations and I can think of a great place that overlooks the city to demo the Wii Fit - and I bought my Wii for the Fit. I didn’t see an email address any where so please let your Pittsburgh Wii friends know when you will be stopping.
