Games Nintendo “Forgot” May 31, 2008

Filed under: Random — hattrick @ 12:02 pm

Games Radar has just posted a list of games that time has forgot.  Some were cancelled altogether, some were moved to other consoles, and others were merely stepping stones for the next real game.  Check out their list.  Are there any you never heard of?

Above:  A screenshot from the SNES game Starfox 2, which was ready for release.  The only problem was that the N64 was right around the corner, and the game was canceled.  I wish Nintendo still had those game carts.

Will some of these games make their way to Wii Ware or Virtual Console?  I highly doubt it.  Check out Games Radar’s list of “lost Nintendo games” by clicking here.

I just remembered that back then I had (I think) one nintendo power magazine, where they claimed, that “Terranigma 64″ was in development - very sad, that this wasn’t really true.

they forgot Dinosaur Planet for the N64. That game led to the creation of Starfox Adventures on the Gamecube.
