Guitar Hero tournament at GameStop - LIVE FEED June 29, 2008
My wife is competing in the Philadelphia GameStop Guitar Hero: Aerosmith competition, live feed will start in about 1 hour (7:30EST), watch and comment below:
UPDATE: Unfortunately, the people of GameStop made me stop filming… I then went outside and zoomed in to film the live feed. The Gamestop employees (seen in red in the video below) proceded to kick me out, so we got the boot from the competition… THANKS GAMESTOP!

I don’t get why stores wanna kick us out for filming a special event such as this, or a big video game launch.
GameStop has earned themselves a bad name. I liked it better when it was just Electronic Boutique.

Yup, did you explain you ran a vidio game blog? lol, too bad, I was watching at 800 live, and only say brief flashes of red, acouple of hands over lense, then it was cut off, to bad…
Did your wife get kicked out too? I hope not. That wouldn’t make sense.
Idiots… A few idiots in Philly have lost my business for the entire chain…. because they are idiots.
They can’t stop you from filming from the street!
Well, actually, just about every business will kick you out if you are filming unless you have some kind of permission. Don’t act as if gamestop is the only place that would do that.
Personally I think Gamestop is a rip off. I get my goods at Best Buy.
I’m so happy we don’t have them stores around here :p on the other hand,we don’t have those competitions around here either
You should be happy you had starbucks to go to, apparently starbucks is coming here too now, dunno if I should be happy or not.
I’m not a fan of Starbucks… I think they’re coffee tastes burnt. I prefer diner coffee, Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, WaWa coffee, QuickChek coffe, or coffee made at home.
I agree 100% with the Starbucks coffee review… hehe… it doesn’t taste good, especially not for the price. In my town (Albany, OR) we’ve got quite a few little independently owned coffee shops that make awesome coffee for half the price. My point? There are independently owned game stores too, whose employees are usually 10x more polite and helpful than those at Gamestop…. support the little guys, it’s good for the economy!
I hate starbucks, because I hate coffie
Any ways, gamestop is good, well ata least up here, they do have underfull deals on used games that work just as good as old ones, but I do feel sadden by this. I almost went to the smash brawl contest on the night it came out:p
