Perhaps the biggest part of the update is the target release date: Fall 2009. Before then, we can hopefully grab a glimpse of the game at Leipzig, since Nibris will be attending the Games Convention there next month. A new trailer is also in the works, tentatively slated for a vague “this vacation” (September, maybe?) release.

The Sadness website also has a short overview and three new screenshots that you may want to check out, although they are a bit on the teeny-tiny side. The screens look really reminiscent of the Fatal Frame series, though, which is also coming out on the Wii. - [qj]

i really do hope this comes out because i feel it would be a very cool game and if not a blockbuster hit. atleast a sleeper hit.

Sadness is our replacement for Silent Hill 5 and Siren: Blood Curse.
Sadly, this won’t be out until Fall of next year. It’s gotta be a Halloween title.
