Can you say Rip-Off? July 10, 2008

Another wii-remote ripoff emerges and shows that nobody can create an original product anymore!
Oh, and I don’t see anything that the wii-remote cant do. I guess we will just have to wait and see how this turns out.

And with that, I have a question for you!
What is stopping the big N from creating a more advanced wii remote capable of better motion sensing?

Loss of backward-compatibility with all the Wii Remotes they’ve already sold. If a new remote is required to play new software, then all of the old ones are worthless. Not to say it’s impossible. They just won’t do it, unless they also plan to offer a free upgrade program for all the remotes out there. Which they won’t do. Offering free remote jackets to the tune of $17 million is about as far out as they’ve ever gone.

    That vid is so fake.

Having the second controller connected to the first seems really pointless… When their connected, its just a bigger remote with only half being functional.
