PLAY! A Video Game Symphony coming to Baltimore this Friday!

I realize this isn’t completely Nintendo news, but the music of Nintendo is just too great to not post this. PLAY! A Video Game Symphony is coming to Baltimore, Maryland this Friday. What is it? Well, here’s the description from its site:
“Performed by full orchestra and choir, PLAY! A Video Game Symphony features award-winning music from a catalogue of blockbuster video game titles. Outstanding graphics on large screens above the orchestra accompany the scores, highlighting memorable moments from the video games.”
I went to Video Games Live, which is another video game music concert, last summer and it was truly amazing. I’m a huge Nintendo fan and a big band geek, so these types of things are so much fun to go to. I have two reasons for posting this. First, I’d like to let everyone know about this show that doesn’t already know, because video game music is some of the best music I have ever heard and to hear it live is an amazing experience. And second, if anyone happens to be in Baltimore or in the area (I’m in Virginia), it would be cool to meet you there. So, if you’re attending, post a comment and let me know. If not, you can be sure that I’ll write a super detailed post on my experience this upcoming weekend, like I did for when I went to Video Games Live.

That sounds like it’ll be cool. I wish I could go. I’m way down in Texas, unfortunately.
I thought all gaming music was reproduced electronically, well you live and learn I guess.
They sound wonderful!
I can definitely imagine myself getting shivers while they play melodies from Final Fantasy, Mario Galaxy, and Legend of Zelda.
Question is will Koji Kondo and/or Nobuo Uematsu be there?
They’re both my favorite video game composers.

The Mario Galaxy music was the only part of the gmae I loved.
