From the article:
If you’ve ever been super motivated to start a new exercise plan only to lose interest after a few weeks of sticking to the new routine you understand the difficulties associated with finding a workout plan that truly works for you. If you want to prevent that motivation loss from happening to you or just want to find the motivation to start exercising in the first place, then check out these blogs below. Whether you are interested in running, biking, climbing, or using your video game console to get you moving, you will find something of interest here.
The Official Wii Fit Experiment. Last year, this guy lost 9 lbs. using Wii Sport. This year, he’s going to give it a try with Wii Fit. Follow his progress over a five week period to see how he does.
Side note: Make sure to pick up (or thumb through) the next issue of Men’s Journal, there is an article about my Wii Workouts and photos!
#1. Nintendo still has Miyamoto, and his work slate is now clear.
#2. First-party WiiWare is happening, and that has massive potential.
#3. Wario Land: Shake It!
#4. Nintendo happily employs a 55-year old man who behaves like this.

#5. Third-party developers are seriously getting their [crap] together.
#6. It’s easy to forget how many good games are already out for the Wii.
#7. Wii MotionPlus could turn out to be really good.
#8. Reggie.
#9. Until recently, Nintendo hasn’t been skimping on the hardcore games.
#10. Cammie reminds us of a Wallace & Gromit character. And we like Wallace & Gromit.
Crispy Gamer has posted an article with editor-in-chief of Nintendo Power magazine, Chris Slate. Here’s what he had to say about the NSider Forums:
CG: How do you feel about the decision to shut down the vibrant NSider forums? Are there any plans to revamp Nintendo Power’s online presence?
Slate: I wasn’t involved with that decision so I don’t have much of an opinion on it. I know that Nintendo fans tend to be the most excited and involved people in gaming, which is one of the reasons that I’m such a big Nintendo fan myself. Our current Web site — which at this moment is still just the old letter informing people of the magazine’s switch from Nintendo to Future — definitely needs to be replaced. I can’t say by what just yet, or when a change might occur, but we’ve been tossing around ideas.

WiiCade announced that it is going to offer online multiplayer gaming.
Basically, WiiCade has launched its own WiFi service that enables online multiplayer support for Flash and Javascript games. The launch comes with two titles, one a Flash-based chess game and the other a Javascript-based Tetris game.
————————————-
The first title released is a Chess game known as WiiCade Chess. This title supports all the classic rules of Chess, thus allowing you and a friend to compete locally or online. Local multiplayer supports sharing a Wii Remote or using two Wii Remotes, thus ensuring that you’ll never need to reach for your Chess board again! WiiCade Chess was written by WiiCade member yoyoyoyo5698.
——————————————-
The second title is an action puzzle title that is a variation on the classic falling blocks formula. Pentriix pits you and a friend against each other to see who can withstand the four or five block falling pieces the longest. Throw garbage rows at your opponent to increase the challenge and make him fail faster! With three different game modes, highscores, and an offline practice mode, Pentriix provides a thrilling challenge for players of all ages and skill levels. Pentriix was written by WiiCade member kirl.
——————————————-
The full list of online multiplayer titles can be seen on the Multiplayer Games Page. Programmers interested in making their own multiplayer titles may download a free development kit from WiiCade Labs.
Do you already do video game reviews? Is it something you’d like to get into? Do you enjoy laughing at people who do horrible reviews? If you answered yes to ANY or ALL of these questions, you’ll defintely want to check out GamesRadar’s “How Not to Make a Video Game Review.”
Their Tips:
1) Be enthusiastic (but remember to do some reviewing).
2) Keep it to a realistically viewable length.
3) Think about what you’re going to say.
4) Complete equipment setup before recording.
5) Do some research.
I know this is not strictly Nintendo related, but I think it fits. Why? Because we would love to see more video game reviews, and we would love to see them done well. So, review these tips and start sending in your reviews. Post them on YouTube, use Wiigg, share them in our Forums, etc. Who knows…you might even make front page news here at WiiNintendo.

I’ve just put up a very in depth video tour of the new just released Wii cooking game Order Up! This is actually a very good third party Wii game, that I think most people aren’t aware of. With this video you’ll get 25 minutes of commentary explaining nearly every aspect of the gameplay.
