The catalog is a comprehensive source of information about collectible items in Animal Crossing: City Folk, including when/where you can catch fish & insects and how much you can expect to pay for a certain furniture item.
In the room after Lara rotates the glowing bridge there is an underwater door that needs to be opened by pulling a lever on the left wall of the room. It’s a simple puzzle with a big problem. In the Wii version of the game the lever is simply not there.

Remember the maps that Nintendo Power used to publish for NES games? Well, a talented artist by the name of Andrew Dobson did the same thing for Mega Man 9. (You can see some of the raw images here) Wii Media contacted Andrew and made a custom viewer for the maps that allow you zoom, scroll, and reveal tips:
GameTrailers has created a video with all the Mega Man 9 bosses (and a method for defeating them).  The video is posted after the jump.  Only hit “more” if you are okay with seeing this “spoiler.”
I now am in possession of Pokemon Platinum. I will keep a blog with all the latest details, and you can view that when you hit the jump. I’ll try and post plenty of screenshots as well. If you have any questions or want to see anything, let me know. I don’t know Japanese, but I will try my best to get through the game. It shouldn’t be too hard to figure things out. Warning: There may be spoilers ahead!
The book should be hitting store shelves by the end of September. Topics covered in
the book include setting up the Wii, using the system’s myriad controllers, getting
the most out of Channels, and recommendations for games and accessories. Wii Sports
and Wii Fit each get their own dedicated chapters, and the book is full of trivia,
history and secrets that even long-time Wii owners might not know about.
Do you already do video game reviews?  Is it something you’d like to get into?  Do you enjoy laughing at people who do horrible reviews?  If you answered yes to ANY or ALL of these questions, you’ll defintely want to check out GamesRadar’s “How Not to Make a Video Game Review.”
Their Tips:
1) Be enthusiastic (but remember to do some reviewing).
2) Keep it to a realistically viewable length.
3) Think about what you’re going to say.
4) Complete equipment setup before recording.
5) Do some research.
I know this is not strictly Nintendo related, but I think it fits.  Why?  Because we would love to see more video game reviews, and we would love to see them done well.  So, review these tips and start sending in your reviews.  Post them on YouTube, use Wiigg, share them in our Forums, etc.  Who knows…you might even make front page news here at WiiNintendo.
