Now this one looks pretty damn fun! This newest Mario Kart Wii WiFi Tournament has you racing in the N64 Skyscraper Battle Stage . This is a wii Wheel only Tournament and as always challenges you to get your best time. The key here is to avoid all of the Bob-Omb Cars that are racing in the opposite direction as you. I’m sure you know what will happen if you run into one…

Ok, I have waited… way too long to post this. I have been busy for the past two weeks, and it is a wonder that I had time to actually host the Scavenger Hunt.

Well, it took a little longer this time than in April (the prize was claimed early Saturday morning), but it happened. The prize has been claimed.

Not bad for five days of cleu(haha)-finding, eh? Ok, I admit it… Going through with the whole thing is quite the accomplishment.

Anyway, I will be back with an improved Hunt this January. In what way improved? Well, for one thing, I will stick to more traditional clues (traditional meaning “clues that worked in the first Hunt”), and I may work out a new “score” system if I can find a way to integrate it seamlessly… but that is a little hard to explain.

Oh, before I go, I have to say this: Though you may not have won, all of the other Hunters that I communicated with did very well also. Maybe better than I would have, even! Many of them may have needed a push in the right direction, but almost always made it with only a vague hint. Good job, all of you, and better luck next time!

The final hints have been up for near six hours now, and they are all fairly easy. But, the prize is still yet to be claimed.

If you are worried about being “too far behind”, well, you never had a better chance to catch up than the past six hours.

Hey, I don’t have time to make special images for EVERY announcement! Well, actually… I spend about as much time making images for the announcements as I do typing them out and adding clues

Anyway, on to the important stuff… TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY OF THE HUNT!

I won’t be adding clues until some time after noon (Central Time), so you all have that much more time to catch up.

I owe you an explanation, too. I have used this Hunt as kind of a “guinea pig”. I decided to see how far I could push the “difficulty” level before making it impossible.

Well, I pushed it just short of impossible. Many of the Hunters are still not at the final clue of the fourth day… In fact, I know of only two that have been there for sure, and one that has solved it. Congratulations, you know who you are

Well, long story short, the January WiiNintendo Scavenger Hunt’s clues will follow more along the lines of April’s clues… less obscure.

Well, I finally did it. I screwed up! Go ahead and throw all the tomatoes you got, I am hungry anyway.

Well, if you are on the third day, you probably noticed that the third clue is missing. Well, I never tested the clue, and assumed that it worked fine. While going through the Hunt checking for errors just now, I realized it was missing.

You know people, if you were stuck, I am only an email away I need the feedback anyway!

It seems that many of you are progressing nicely, and then quite a few of you are running into turbulence. It is for the latter that I repeat a crucial part of the guidelines:

• The clue will be within the FIRST FIVE PAGES of results.
• You may need to actually open an article (instead of reading it from the search) by clicking the “More” button to see the clue.
• Don’t forget to check image alts by holding the cursor over images! (FireFox users (and possibly other browsers) may have to right click pictures and click “properties” to see the alternate text. Sorry for the inconvenience!)
• You will NEVER be directed away from WiiNintendo, have to watch a video or read comments for a clue.
