The special new Pokemon game reveal has happened at Jump Festa! And it’s… something nobody predicted. The game is called “Nobunaga’s Ambition X Pokemon” and will be released for Nintendo DS (not 3DS) in 2012 in Japan. For those that don’t know, Nobunaga’s Ambition is a turn-based strategy RPG series involving real battles in Japanese history by Koei Tecmo, so Pokemon is now doing a crossover with that series and obviously bringing it into the fictional realm. The game has been developed as a joint effort by The Pokemon Company/Nintendo and Koei Tecmo. The images seem to depict Sengoku-period generals teaming up with Pokemon, which is [...]
The 2011 demo of the latest iteration in the Zelda game franchise, Skyward Sword for Nintendo Wii, is starting to surface on illegal download sites.
This is NOT the full game and it comes with timed sequences. Hackers are already at work to remove the timing limitations and possibly unlock what could turn out to be a 2-3 hours playable version.
This version was apparently compiled on August 23, 2010. The game ID is DAXP01. There are six languages available: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch.
Note: the Wii Motion Plus accessory is required to play Zelda Skyward Sword.
Don’t post links to the game in the [...]

Just a heads up to all Nintendo DSi and DSi XL owners… there’s a new firmware update out. The update will bring your system to firmware 1.4.2, and there’s currently no word on what this new update even does. My guess would be that it prepares the system for the DSiWare system transfer feature for the Nintendo 3DS when that update arrives. I’ll update this post if I find out more information, though everything seems the same for me after updating.
UPDATE: Looks like the only thing this new firmware update does is block flash carts, like the Acekard 21, EZ-Flash Vi, and Supercard DSTwo. Of course, the flash carts can be updated but for now this [...]
Okay I just had to share this with you all. I was searching around on Google looking for some cool pictures people were taking with their 3DS and uploading to share. Well I came across a handful of cool links here and there, but nothing compared to what I found on GBATemp. User “Eighteen” has taken to using his NVidia graphics card and some other software to capture screenshots and convert them over to 3ds format (MPO) for our viewing pleasure. I have personally downloaded over 100 of these images and for the most part I am very impressed. To top it all off, he is taking requests. We’re talking Gamecube, N64, PC, Wii games. So if want to see a game on [...]
Someone has a Nintendo 3DS. Who is that someone? Well it’s apparently a Chinese factory worker who smuggled the device off-site. Problem is, he posted it on a forum, but the thread was deleted. Probably because it’s like, illegal. I’d venture to guess the device itself was being produced for one of the upcoming events like Nintendo World 2011 or the Nintendo 3DS Preview Event. Only question is, will the factory worker risk being found out and continue to leak details?
GBATemp user SKJmin has been hard at work in our own backyard on a SMB3 remake for the DS. The project is set to be released in less than 12 hours. For more information, trailers, screen captures, etc, please check the project post link. A link to the download will be added to this post when one is available.
Game is finished, will be released after including an intro (roughly at 5pm EST)
