Firstly, I goto the gym 3 days a week usually 1 hour. After getting the Wii right away I put in Wii Sports and played for several hours, which I did notice myself sweating several times in the game. The next day I was soar in my arms, which was completely amazing. It doesnt get any better when you can play video games and burn calories.

    Hey,

Thank you very much for just opening up the minds and eyes of many folks who just think video games are nothing but a waste of time and doesn’t contribute to the health of our children. keep up the great job. I’m looking to get into the Wii-Fitness also, as soon as I can get one.

Hi, my friends just got me a Wii. Really nice site and great job. I am going to try this out. I’m just 165lbs, but have body fat and will try to burn it…try to lose the belly.

Love your motivation for this. Great stuff!!

  23. Luis Says:

guys, seriously, if you really want to lose weight, it’s really better to play real sports…
you know, there are a lot of them, it’s not that hard to choose… basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, baseball
you may have fun with your friends and will surely lose WAY more weight than playing a wii.
Wii wasn’t made for you to lose weight, it was made for you to have fun, to feel like you were inside the game.
however, 80% of the americans are FAT, DON’T go outside and eat pizza and hamburger everyday, nintendo just realised they could earn money from people who really believe that you lose the same weight as if you were playing basketball for example.
By playing the Wii, you’ll surely lose more weight than if you were playing another videogame, but will never even get close of the amount of weight you could lose if you were playing real sports.

And no, I’m not a Nintendo hater, and I’m planning to get my Wii this january, but to have fun, because if i want to lose weight i’d better play soccer.

Sorry if there is any grammar mistake, I’m not from an english speaking country.
